The Guadalupe Brewing 5k Beer Run is the second event in the Texas Beer Series. If you haven’t tried any of Guadalupe Brewing’s craft beer, you are in for a treat! This fun and social 5k beer run will be hosted at Guadalupe Brewing’s taproom and brewery at 1580 Wald Rd, New Braunfels, TX 78132. Packet pickup starts at 12 noon and the run begins at 2pm on Saturday, April 8th, 2017.
Your registration will get you:
- Entry into the Guadalupe Brewing 5k Beer Run
- Custom t-shirt with event logo
- 5 Samples of Guadalupe Brewing’s AMAZING craft beer
- Souvenir pint glass with event logo
- One FREE pint of your choice at the taproom when you finish the 5k

Registration is only $35! Sign up soon to guarantee your spot in this FUN and SOCIAL 5K! The price goes up to $45 on February 8th, so sign up today and save! **Make sure to register by Monday, March 28th to guarantee your shirt size!** We are ordering extra shirts, however participants who sign up after March 28th aren’t guaranteed a shirt.
The Guadalupe Brewing 5k Beer Run is a unique event You don’t have to wait until the end of the 5k to enjoy Guadalupe Brewing’s great beer; we will have samples for you throughout the race! Everyone will get to enjoy their first sample of beer right away, because we will begin the race with a celebratory “cheers!”. This 5k course is a five lap, 0.62 mile loop around the brewery. After each lap, you will get another sample of AMAZING Guadalupe Brewing craft beer! When you finish the 5k you will receive a souvenir pint glass as your finisher’s award. Pint glasses are our favorite kind of finisher’s medal!
Root Beer Division This is a family friendly event! For participants under 21 years old, designated drivers and non-beer drinkers, we will have a Root Beer Division as well! We will have root beer and water on the course and the Root Beer Division participants will still get the same swag as the Beer Run participants.
Packet pick up will be onsite at Guadalupe Brewing’s taproom and brewery from 12pm-1:45pm on race day, Saturday April 8th, 2017. Come out early to get a good parking spot and enjoy a pint before the run. The 5k run will start at 2pm.
Food Truck Alert! We will have Po’ Boys Food Truck onsite during the event as well. Bring some extra cash and your appetite for some great post run food! Check them out HERE.

Guadalupe Brewing has chosen the Society for Animal Rescue and Adoption (SARA) as their charity partner for the Guadalupe Brewing 5k Beer Run.
SARA’s mission is to help any animal that comes to us regardless of species, special health needs, or temperament. As a no-kill sanctuary, no animal is ever killed for convenience. Euthanasia is only employed in the true sense of the word: when an animal is suffering with no chance of recovery.
Nestled in the beautiful green pastures and wooded scrub brush of picturesque Guadalupe County, Society for Animal Rescue & Adoption, or SARA, is home to nearly 750 rescued animals of all kinds. Created in March of 1996, SARA is celebrating 20 years of hard work, rescue, and dedication to those who have no voice of their own.
Visitors are welcome by appointment. Please contact us to schedule a time to come out and share a wonderful experience you’re not likely to forget.
